SDF OFFICER RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS FRENCH DECORATIONS
As part of the activities to commemorate the French National Day in Reunion Island, the Commander of the Special Operations Unit, Lt Colonel Mondon, was awarded the French National Defence Medal.
The medal was presented by General Jean de Monicault, Commander of the FAZSOI.
In his convocation, Gen de Monicault highlighted the significant contributions done by Lt Col Mondon in the establishment of the Special Operations Unit and the close collaboration developed between TAZAR and 2eRPIMa from its inception until now. He further added that such contributions have helped to deepen the bonds of cooperation between the French and Seychelles Forces.
The ceremony was also attended by the CDF, Maj General Rosette, as well as senior military officers from the French Military.
