From Service to the Football Pitch: SDF Women Making Their Mark

The Seychelles Defence Forces proudly celebrates Corporal Veena Cadeau and Private Kimbelly Chang Tak Hue, two SDF members who continue to excel on the football pitch.

Corporal Cadeau serves in the SDF Procurement Department and currently playing in STARLET FC, has over 20 years of football experience. After a seven-year break from active football, she made a strong comeback in 2024 pre-season, her outstanding performances earned her 1st Best Senior Female Player for the 2025/2026 season.

Private Chang Tak Hue, who serves in the SDF Admin Department, plays for TIGERS FC. A passionate footballer from a young age, she was named Best Football Player in 2023, additionally she has also been recognised as the 3rd Best Senior Player in the Women’s League for the 2025/2026 season.

Now, both SDF athletes are preparing to represent Seychelles at the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Kenya in October 2026

The SDF proudly congratulates Corporal Cadeau and Private Chang Tak Hue and wishes them every success as they continue to serve, compete and represent Seychelles with pride.
