Seychelles Coast Guard Officer Completes Maritime Security Course
Captain Ricky Leon, Commanding Officer of Patrol Ship Andromache of the Seychelles Coast Guard, has successfully completed a one-month Strengthening Maritime Security course at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California.
The one month course, focused on strengthening knowledge and capabilities in maritime security and enhancing professional expertise in addressing contemporary maritime security challenges.
Upon completion, Captain Leon was awarded a Certificate in Strengthening Maritime Security by the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU).
The Seychelles Defence Forces congratulates Captain Leon on this achievement and his continued commitment to strengthening Seychelles’ maritime security capabilities.
