ANOTHER PROUD MILESTONE FOR THE SDF
The Seychelles Defence Forces(SDF) proudly congratulates Officer Cadet Balette Dominic, Officer Cadet Kariuki Peter, Officer Cadet Remy Noelisa and Officer Cadet Boniface Guyra on successfully completing their one-year Service Commission Course at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, India.
The four Seychellois Officer Cadets were among 17 Officer Cadets from Friendly Foreign Countries who successfully completed their military training during the Passing Out Parade held at OTA Chennai on 05 September 2026.
The proud occasion was witnessed by SDF Staff Officer for Training; Major Dave Mathieu, alongside the Officer Cadets’ family members and loved ones, who gathered to celebrate this significant achievement.
Their successful completion of the rigorous training marks an important milestone in their military careers and reflects their dedication, discipline, perseverance and commitment to service.
As they return home to continue their journey with the Seychelles Defence Forces, we wish our newly trained officers every success as they take on greater responsibilities and continue to uphold the values of “Service Before Self.”
