Lt Col Louis Agathine today celebrates his 25th anniversary of ordainment as a deacon with the Roman Catholic Church.
Lt Col Agathine joined the SPDF in 1999 as a Chaplain,where his role has been to develop and maintain a culture of spirituality within the force. He also provides continuous guidance to service personnel with regards to their civic and moral responsibilities as soldiers.
Being a man of God has not stopped Deacon Agathine from participating actively with military personnel, even braving the rough seas to accompany them in various foreign exercises abroad.
