Hope Across Borders: Seychelles Government, Private Sector & Organizations Donate to the people of Madagascar.
A wave of heartfelt generosity has reached the city of Mahajanga as the Government of Seychelles, along with members of the private sector and various charitable organizations, have come together to provide vital donations to the region’s most vulnerable populations—including impoverished communities, inmates, and children in orphanages.

This humanitarian initiative an appeal by the Red Cross of Seychelles was aimed to bring relief and restore dignity to those often forgotten by society. The donated items included food supplies, clothing, and hygiene kits. For many in Mahajanga, these donations arrived as a lifeline. The crew of Saya De Malha and the personel who participated in the Tulip Exercise also helped in painting one of the orphanage in Mahajanga.
Representatives from the Seychelles Defence Forces expressed their solidarity with the people of Madagascar, highlighting the importance of regional cooperation and unity in the face of poverty. “Our commitment to supporting our neighbors is a reflection of unity, and No one should be left behind” stated Lieutenant Colonel Louis Agathine the Head of Delegation.
