FORCE HEADQUARTERS COMMANDER OF EUROPEAN UNION NAVAL FORCE PAYS COURTESY CALL TO SEYCHELLES COAST GUARD

Commodore Nuno Filipe Cortes Lopes paid a courtesy call at the Seychelles Coast Guard base today. His visit coincides with the port call of the ESPS Santa Maria, flagship of the EUNAVFOR Operation ATALANTA in port of Victoria from the 10th to the 13th of December.

During his visit, he interacted with Acting Commander of the SCG, Lt Col David Arrisol, and visited the SCG Maritime Operations Centre.

Commodore Lopes has recently assumed his position as Force Headquaters (FHQ) Commander of the EUNAVFOR Operation ATALANTA. The FHQ is responsible for the tactical command of all EUNAVFOR multinational assets in the region.
