SEYCHELLES DEFENCE FORCES NEW LOGO

The new logo represents all three branches that make up the SDF which is Land, Air and Sea.

Anchor – Grey Anchor representing the naval arm of the SDF, the Coast Guard. An anchor holds a ship in place, representing strength and security.

Wings – Light Blue Wings that represent the Air Force. It symbolizes speed, flight, and freedom.

Shield with Seychelles Coat of Arms – Seychelles Coat of Arms is superimposed on a shield. The shield symbolizes protection is also a sign of stability, toughness and boldness.

Cross Swords – Represents the land forces. It also symbolized Leadership, Dignity, Honour and Courage. The swords pointing upwards means ready to fight.

Red Pummel of the sword is also the colour associated with Land Forces.
