SDF COMMISSION TWO NEW OFFICERS.

Brigadier Michael Rosette had the honor of commissioning two cadet officers and promoting two Captains during a brief ceremony held at the Defence Forces Headquarters in Bel Eau. The Chief of Staff Col Jean Atala and other senior military personnel attended the ceremony.

2nd Lieutenant Jaisankar Pillay

The Naval Orientation Course in India provided training for the two commissioned officers, 2Lt Jaisankar Pillay and 2Lt Marlon Noel, over a period of six months. As newly appointed officers in their respective unit Seychelles Coast Guard, they will now carry out their duties.

Both Captain Luigi Loizeau and Captain Edwin Constance, who were absent during last Saturday’s promotion ceremony, also received their promotion.

The Seychelles Defence Forces commend the SDF officers for their tenacity and resolve to advance in leading the force.
