SEYCHELLES PETROLEUM COMPANY DONATES SAF FUEL BOWSER

SEYPEC has donated a 6,000-litre  Jet-A1 fuel bowser to the Seychelles Air Force. The event took place this morning at the Seychelles Air ForceBase–at  Pointe Larue, in the presence of the Commander In Chief, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, CEO of Seypec, and Senior Seypec and SDF officials.

This donation was part of an MOU signed last year under which Seypec agreed to provide the Seychelles  Defence Forces with assistance to improve fuel storage capacity to assist in their operations. The fuel bowser will be highly beneficial, particular when SAF assets are required to refuel urgently or at odd hours. 

Both the CEO of Seypec and CDF stressed on the continued collaboration and assistance between the two entities during their speeches.

SDF Chaplain Louis Agathine blessed the bowser, and this was followed by a technical briefing and viewing of the bowser.

Apart from the donation, SeyPec will provide the necessary training to SAF personnel to execute refuelling operations independently.
