SDF TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY 

Seychelles Defence Forces organized its first ‘Team Building Activity’ for the year 2023 with the civilian staff at the Defence  Forces Head Quarters Bel- Eau, then proceed to  Beau-Vallon Beach to enhance the activities planned for the day. To further create a great working environment and to encourage staff bonding within the organization, the staff were from each unit of SDF.

The event started with the introduction by Lieutenant Colonel Pierre an industrial phycologist followed by a brief explanation on what is Team Building and it’s purpose in an organization. He stated that the main objective of the exercises was to have fun, improve overall team communication, deepen understanding and to produce more highly motivated staff to improve the organization’s performance both individually and collectively.

Participants agreed that the Team building activities were a really effective means of bringing the SDF staff together as a unit.
These activities also assisted the staff in recognizing their individual differences, strengths, and potential. They received suggestions from certain activities on how to develop their creative and problem-solving abilities.
