The Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) command, led by Chief of Defence Forces Major General Michael Rosette, accompanied by Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Brigadier Jean Attala and Chief of Staff Colonel Michael Hollanda, conducted their annual unit visits over the past week, concluding today.
The visits were aimed at briefing officers on current global challenges impacting supply chains, commodity availability, fuel consumption and the implementation of cost-control measures. The leadership also took the opportunity to address unit specific concerns and engage directly with personnel.
The delegation comprised representatives from key departments, including Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, the SDF Chaplaincy, Training and Allied Services as well as the Information Technology Department, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the discussions.
These visits form part of the SDF’s ongoing efforts to maintain operational efficiency, strengthen communication across units and ensure that all personnel remain informed and aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
