DFHQ DONATES TO FIRE VICTIM

Donations were given to the family Bijoux to support them in coping with their difficulties after their home in Aux Cap was completely destroyed by fire on November 21 of this year.

In the presence of the donors, soldiers, and civilian employees of the Defence Forces Head Quaters Bel Eau, the Chief of Defence Forces presented the donation to Mrs. Aisha Bijoux this morning.

Mrs. Bijoux expressed her gratitude to all of the contributors and the Seychelles Defence Forces on behalf of her family. She said, “Words are not adequate to express my gratitude to you all for this act; my family and I are very moved, and your contribution is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of the SDF, Brigadier Michael Rosette expressed his sympathy to the Bijoux family, and thanked all of the donors for their generosity, particularly during this holiday season. “As 2022 draws to a close, we reflect on everything that has transpired in our nation, including the fatalities, accidents, and other risks that have negatively impacted Seychelles. With much effort, we anticipate embracing 2023, and we are confident that the combined strength of each of us will help us achieve our shared objective of defending and protecting our nation “.
