Defence Forces Day Activity: Range Competition
As part of the ongoing activities for Defence Forces Day, the highly awaited annual firing competition was held today at the Barbarons firing range between the various units within the force.
This year’s event comprised of a run, assembly of weapon and shooting at various targets in Standing, Kneeling and Prone positions.
The results saw the Special Forces Unit (SFU) clinching majority of the top spots in the various categories, and defending their position as best overall unit for a second consecutive year.

Although a highly competitive event, it also helps to foster and promote cohesion, teamwork and camaraderie between service personnel.
