SDF – LONG SERVICE AWARD FOR CIVILIAN STAFF, RETIREMENT PERSONNEL & EX- SERVICE MEN

In a brief ceremony held at the Seychelles Defence Academy, the Seychelles Defence Forces recognized and honored their employees, retired civilians, and ex-servicemen for their many years of committed and loyal service.

The ceremony recognized 66 awardees who have worked for the organization between five and thirty years. The Chief of Staff Colonel Jean Attala addressed the personnel and recipients of awards, thanking them all for giving their best years to the SDF and encouraging them to continue helping the organization.

We admire your diligence, breadth of expertise, and priceless experience, he continued. Whether you are a member of the military or a civilian employee, you are all valuable members of our team since your capabilities and contributions are crucial to realizing our mission.

Former SDF employees were recognized to by Colonel Attala as “pioneers” whose many years of commitment, loyalty, and dedication contributed to establish and develop the SDF that exists today.
